HEAVEN or HELL

ARE YOU SURE YOU ARE GOING TO HEAVEN?

URGENT!

Examine the BASIS of your hope!

There is no more important message you could ever receive than the Word of God telling you clearly how you can be sure you are going to heaven. God has given us this Word in the Bible. It is GOOD NEWS! We know we are going to die someday, but do we know if we will be in heaven? Do you have a hope of heaven?
What is the basis for that hope?

I have written this simple explanation of what the Bible says about this. I call it, "The A,B,C's of Salvation" because it is as simple as A.B.C., yet it was very costly for our Saviour to provide for us.

Will you live forever
with God in heaven?
It is possible to KNOW!
It is as simple as A..B..C

A = Admit your need OF the Savior.
“All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)

B = Believe that Jesus IS the Savior.
“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” (Acts 16:31)

C = Commit your life to Jesus AS your Savior
“Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him.” (Psalm 37:5)

Do you ADMIT that you NEED the Savior, that you are guilty before God and in need of His mercy?

Do you BELIEVE that Jesus is who He claimed to be—the Incarnate Son of God who came to earth to save sinners and suffered and died on the Cross for us, to pay the penalty for our sins.

Do you COMMIT your life to Jesus, receiving Him as your Lord and Savior? The Bible says, “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.” (John 1:12 NKJV)

A person who is dying may ADMIT he is sick and needs medicine. He may even BELIEVE the doctor that the medicine will heal him. But if he does not RECEIVE the medicine by taking it into his body, his admission and belief will not save him. So also, the BASIS of our hope of heaven is our trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and what He has done to purchase our salvation.

This is called GRACE, and you can read about it in Ephesians 2:8-9. “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”

If you have made this commitment, confess it. Romans 10:9-10 says, “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Write to me for more information if you have recently made this commitment to Christ. Read on through the other pages on this site for more information on living the Christian life. I especially encourage you to read the insights from John Owens' writings on how to grow as a Christian and how to deal with sin in your life.

In my estimation, the most thorough and best explanation of How You Can Have Eternal Life is to be found at our PCA Home Page, and I have provided a link to that article right here. Just click on ETERNAL LIFE. Isn't it worth reading a little more and being sure you have a full understanding of where you will spend eternity?

ETERNAL LIFE

I pray the Lord will make my web site a HOSPITAL for birthing new Christians and a SCHOOL for them to grow in grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Each page here can contribute to your Christian growth. This page, for instance, can show you ways of sharing the Good News with others. Do you know how to explain to someone simply and clearly how to receive Christ?

This is my goal that you will meet Jesus in this site. Every page is created for the glory of God. May he bless you as you view it page by page. This is one of my favorite pages along with the last page, BEAUTIFUL LINKS.

My missionary son, Mark Baxter, sent me a good quote. He wrote, " Here's a great quote. It's a reminder to keep first things first.

"We spend more time praying for the saved who are SICK than for the unsaved who are LOST... more time trying to keep the saints out of heaven than the lost out of hell." - Adrain Rodgers"

That's why I consider this an important page in my web site.
